invite you to a Breakfast Panel on

International Innovation Partnerships
Connecting industries, universities and governments
in a global knowledge economy

Sharing knowledge through networks has become a main ingredient for successful innovation systems. The knowledge-based economy requires companies to collaborate with each other, universities to reach out to industries and governments to develop a new science diplomacy aimed at fostering transnational innovation partnerships. Bringing together representatives from industry, academia, government and foreign missions, the goal of this breakfast panel is to explore current and future models of international partnerships and to discuss the challenges and opportunities it presents.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Marc Rioult from the Technology Transfer Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology responsible for the development and commercialization of a portfolio of life sciences inventions. Prior to joining MIT, Dr. Rioult was Director of Deal Facilitation at yet2.com Inc., a technology transfer consultancy, and Vice-President Consulting at Foresight Science & Technology Inc., a technology and market assessment consultancy.
